Summer is rapidly coming to a close, many schools in our area are already back in session and most others start this next Monday. Miranda will start back to school on Monday and the other girls one week later. Today was our last warm day before "back to school" and we had to avoid all lakes and pools because of Kamiryn's newly stitched leg. What to do? Well Madi had really wanted to try out a playground in Pelican Rapids that we pass each time we go out to Grandmom's lake and today turned out to be the perfect day to do that. We picked up an extra kid on our way out of town (thanks Renae for letting us borrow Kippy) and had a great time picknicking, playing spying pelicans.....we even saw a real one. We ended our little trip with ice cream at a cute shop called Scoops. The weather was perfect and the day turned out to be that way too.

That is a great last hurray!! 5 looks good to my eye too. But thank goodness you have 4 healthy (if somewhat accident prone) beautiful girls. YAY!! for summer!
Kippy thoroughly loved being a temporarily-adopted Hubert kid for the afternoon!! Thanks so much for including her and for the treats! You are so stinking fabulous for helping preserve my limited sanity for Thursday too!
